Mulligan

slice.jpgRep. Jore (C) responded to recent criticism via the editorial page. That certainly clarifies the issues at hand, now back to reality.  Here is a mulligan opportunity for the Speaker.  This initial appintment sliced far right, and if he doesn't want to give away the hole, tee 'er up again.

Rep. Arntzen would follow a recent traditon of excellent women who have Chaired House Education;  Masolo (R), Andersen (R), & Galvin-Halcro (D).

Or consider Rep. Glaser, who has the experience and was a former Chair of Senate Education.

All reasonable choices. A reasonable person would take you up on the chance for a mulligan. Any reasonable person would, so I am not holding my breath here. You?

Jore says: “The Legislature is not constitutionally bound, in my opinion, under the separation of doctrine, to acquiesce to the court’s opinion,” he says. “I’m not at all convinced that continuing on the same path of just giving more money, and not addressing accountability and parental rights and authority, is the course we want to go.”

What's extremist about this?
